Our English Plus Leadership camp offers older students a unique cross-cultural opportunity to build and develop skills in key areas of leadership alongside developing their English language with other enthusiastic young leaders.
During this 2-week course, our trained staff will guide students aged between 15 and 17 years old through sessions designed to develop and test effective team work, communication, presentation and problem solving skills.
Being designed for older students, this camp allows our young leaders more independence during excursions, allowing you to explore and discover our day trip destinations for yourselves.
Back at camp, our young leaders will shadow our experienced Xplore Instructors during evening activities, and during the day leadership workshops cover all aspects of key leaderships techniques from idea sharing, public speaking, entrepreneurism and understanding others and their behaviour. We also plan a 1-night overnight expedition, where Leadership students will be responsible for navigating their journey, completing tasks during the route and sleeping out underneath the stars.
By the end of the 2-weeks, our students should feel confident in leading and inspiring others.
Transfers and Entrance Fees are included in the price.

Levels: A2 – C2 on CEFR Pathway Table
After completing placement test, our native-speaking English teachers will place teenagers in a class suitable to their ability level. At Framlingham, we offer Elementary (A2), Intermediate (B1), Advanced (B2), Proficiency (C1) and Masters (C2) courses.
For our teenage learners, we tailor our lessons and teaching approach to include interactive group and individual projects and presentations as well as focus on cultural, social and academic topics. Through encouraging participation within our classes, it allows each learner to develop their English sometimes without even noticing.
At Framlingham, our teachers will offer support with conversation, grammar, English Literature, debates and presentations and even colloquial terms and business grammar for those fluent speakers.
At the end of the 2-week course, learners will complete an examination for the level they have been learning at. We will then receive a certificate from Anglia Examinations, which confirms your English level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference.
Classroom learning time per week is 20 hours and our class sizes are same with approximately 12 students per teacher.
For students achieving a pass grade or higher for B1, B2, C1 and C2, they will receive an Ofqual approved certificate through Anglia Examinations partnership with AIM Awards.
During the 2-week programme, our staff will take all our campers on 3 organised day trip excursions.
For Leadership students, these trips are the perfect way to spend the day off-campus with new friends – from day trips to big cities such London and Cambridge or social trips to Norwich or Ipswich for shopping or bowling.
(3 excursions during 2-week programme – Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday).
Care & Supervision
Our Camp Leaders are responsible for the pastoral care of all those in our care and ensure that everyone is sleeping well, eating well, joining in, making friends and having a great time.
During free time, our teenagers are able to explore the campus with friends, whilst being supervised by their house parents.
Our camps are available to children from all over the world.
Integration and immersion is central to how we operate as an organisation, and by encouraging lots of social interaction between different cultures and creating a diverse international community at camp, it can really develop every child’s self-confidence in communicating with others.
